Hangad Weekend - Nov 24 and 25

The Hangad weekend started off with a guesting at Jam 88.3's The Blend with DJ Rick, then a wedding at CTK after at 3pm. Dinner at Lissa's house in celebration of her birthday and Swapee's despedida followed (although I wasn't able to go due to family obligations).

Then on Sunday, we started with a mass at Della Strada (but I wasn't there either because of our village choir sings at 10am here in vv5). Then off to Eastwood at 5pm for our 730pm show! Fun but tiring weekend with Hangad!

Cebu, Nov 17-18

Visited Mia again for the weekend. Bitin talaga.
Spent most of our time in Ayala. 13th anniv sale nila so nag-shopping kami. Hehe... Watched The Company perform also for free! Panalo! I'll upload some videos later on.

Ate at Don Hen for lunch and japanese for dinner. Talagang tataba ako sa Cebu. hehe...

Miss ko na si Mia. =(

Long weekend in Punta (Nov 1-4, 2007)

said it would start at 10am but actually started at 3pm. sigh... disappointed si inigo.

Fun and restful weekend in Punta Fuego with family and relatives from my Mom's side (Tito Monchito, Pia, Albert, Inigo, and Anica). =)

Manong Carlo's Post-Birthday Dinner at Abe's

Ish and I went to Serendra at 6pm but almost all restaurants already had reservations for 7pm. Good thing we were able to get seats in Abe.

Carlo and J-an followed and then mama and papa arrived. By that time, we had already ordered the ff:

1. kinilaw
2. lumpia (with garbanzos)
3. gambas
4. crispy shrimps
5. crispy tadyang
6. piniritong pla-pla
7. adobong puso ng saging
8. lamb adobo
9. sinigang na baboy
10. burong mangga

The food was good comfort food. =)

Kloe dropped by as she was in Serendra with her family as well.

Really missed Mia. =( The family is not complete without her. Well hopefully soon we can eat out again and be complete then. =)

My regularly scheduled visits to Mia. I really wish I could stay longer and visit more frequently though... A weekend is never enough... Sigh...

But as usual, I enjoyed every minute of my stay and my time with Mia. =)

I was tagged by Bea... so here it goes...

1.) When I see someone's necklace with the clasp not exactly in the middle of the back of their neck, I ask them to fix it... same with the "arrow" on a dive watch... I don't know why but I'm OC in this way.

 

2.) I'm an introvert and like spending time alone more than going out... or if I do go out, I'd rather have it in a quiet place... and I'd listen to the conversations more than speak up.

 

3.) I used to wear really large and thick glasses until I had my eyes lasered (guinea pig of my dad really) in 1st year college.

 

4.) Although I was part of a theater group in HS (Dulaang Sibol), I was never able to play a role that I wanted to do... a singing part or a wacky-weird role... I was always cast as a sturn, bossy, angry guy.

 

5.) In school, I was always aware of how much effort I needed to put into each class in order for me to meet my target grade. I never concentrated on any one subject but spread myself out. I was a jack-of-all-trades but master of none in that sense.

 

6.) Although it was difficult being away from family and friends, I do miss the independence I had when I was in Manchester... I liked doing things on my own... cooking, shopping, travelling...

 

7.) I'm a proud person and often find it hard to admit my mistakes...

Mia in Manila April 20-23 2007

Spent Friday night out with her HS friends then off to Punta Fuego for some fun, rest, and relaxation! (see other post)

Watched a musical by Blue Rep "Stages of Love" at Kape Isla in Serendra then had dinner with some of Mia's relatives before calling it a night.

Visited my uncle, Tito Ling, in Rockwell for lunch Monday then just went around MOA before bringing Mia to the airport.

Can't wait until we meet again. See you in May! =)

Kat's Despedida Outing at Punta Fuego (with Mia flying from Cebu!)

Our good friend Kat is leaving for the Big Apple and the ACMG barkada and some of her HS barkada got together for a beach trip at Punta Fuego.

Mia even flew in from Cebu to join us (and get a much needed vacation).

Haay... a great weekend with good friends and my pangga. =)

Another Trip to Cebu to Visit Mia (Feb 2-3, 2007)

Nald invited Donna and me to sing with him for his 4th year classes as a farewell gesture. We sang "Paalam Na" after 48 years and it showed! Haha! But we did better as the day went on. Tagal ko na ring di nakita si Dons and it was good to see an old friend again. =)
